In the 1770s, patriots fought for independence and the founders laid the framework for our government. When they needed to celebrate or relax – you can bet they were dancing!

In this class, Barbara Pugliese will teach you dances reconstructed from 18th century sources.

In no time, you’ll be dancing elegant minuets and lively country dances fit for a revolutionary!

This class is great for people who are able to walk briskly and follow directions. No partner and no prior dance experience are needed. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes that don’t grip the floor, i.e. no sneakers.
