Ryan loves when people read to him! If you are learning to read and want to build your confidence, come read to Ryan! Pick your favorite book and sign up for a 15 minute reading spot to hang out with the coolest dog who just needs to hear you read.

During this program, children are invited to get up close and personal with a trained service dog. Ryan is very friendly and may come into your personal space to sniff you or ask you to pet him. He is well-behaved and will listen to his owner, so you can always ask them to have him step back if you are uncomfortable or overwhelmed.

Attendance Policy

Please note, when someone does not show up for a program they are registered for, they are taking away an opportunity for another member of the community. Patrons who are registered for an event they cannot attend are asked to cancel their registration at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to show up for programs two (2) times without notice will be grounds for being waitlisted for 90 days. Patrons who arrive 10 minutes or more after the program start time will be considered no-shows. They may be denied access after that time, and their spot may be given away to people on the waiting list.
