Come practice your reading skills by reading aloud to our awesome teen volunteer Reading Buddies! Buddies are available to "check out" for 30 minute increments and are happy to listen to you read whatever book(s) you'd like. Buddies will offer an encouraging ear and will only jump in to help if you ask for it. Kids and Buddies are welcome to sit anywhere in the Children’s Room during their time together and are encouraged to find a quiet spot, but it may still be loud, depending on how busy the room is.

Registration is not required. Please note that you may need to wait for a buddy on afternoons when we are busy.
