Most people know that Amelia Earhart was a pioneering pilot who disappeared over the Pacific Ocean in 1937. But did you know she lived in our hometown and worked in Boston? And did you know that she developed her own line of clothing and luggage? She also fought for women's rights and equality, and just last year Amelia was voted one of America’s Greatest Mentors. Join us as we learn about the life and legacy of this courageous American icon as presented by Dr. Margie Arnold, an Earhart enthusiast.
This program is brought to you by Medford Historical Society and Museum and will have ASL interpretation.
