Family 3D Printing Workshop (ages 8-12)

Monday, April 73:30—4:30 PMTech LabMedford Public Library111 High Street, Medford, MA, 02155

Come and learn about the process of 3D printing. Then, test out the library’s 3D printers to make something of your very own. An adult is required to attend with you, so you can continue the 3D printing fun at home!

During Family 3D Printing, children and their adults are expected to sit and listen to a presentation about the process of 3D printing. This program takes place in our tech lab, so there is some soft humming noise from the computers and the 3D printers.

This program is for kids ages 8-12 and an adult. Registration is required.

Questions? Email Sam D. at sdonahue@minlib.net.

We want to do our best to provide your child with the best accommodations possible to make their experience at 3D Printing both fun and rewarding. Any additional information you can provide to help us support your child would be very helpful.

Attendance Policy

Please note, when someone does not show up for a program they are registered for, they are taking away an opportunity for another member of the community. Patrons who are registered for an event they cannot attend are asked to cancel their registration at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to show up for programs two (2) times without notice will be grounds for being waitlisted for 90 days. Patrons who arrive 10 minutes or more after the program start time will be considered no-shows. They may be denied access after that time, and their spot may be given away to people on the waiting list.

Registration for this event has now closed.
