Introduction to Assemblies in CAD
Thursday, May 286:30—8:30 PMTech LabMedford Public Library111 High Street, Medford, MA, 02155
Join our instructor, Cassie (she/her), to learn some advanced features of 3D modeling with Onshape! This class teaches how to create assemblies, the basics of mating parts and using off-the-shelf-parts, and tips on how to create top-down designs. If time allows, we will cover how to create technical drawings and exploded views as well.
You will get the most out of this course if you have some familiarity with creating 2D Sketches and 3D models in Onshape or similar software.
Computers will be provided in the Tech Lab. However, if you have your own laptop and mouse that you're already comfortable with, you're encouraged to bring them to use in this program!
The library strives to be open and accessible for all. If you need accommodations to attend this program, please be sure to register. There is a follow-up question that will help us understand how we can include you in our programs.
