Join us for a family movie night at the library! We will be getting comfy, so bring your coziest, cushiest blankets and pillows and wear your PJs (but only if you want!). 

We will be watching A Minecraft Movie:

Four misfits are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they embark on a magical quest with an unexpected, expert crafter, Steve. Together, their adventure will challenge all five to be bold and to reconnect with the qualities that make each of them uniquely creative.

A Minecraft Movie is rated PG for some action and rude humor. You know your child best and are the best judge of what media is appropriate for them; please use your discretion when registering your family for Family Movie Night.

Light refreshments will be provided.

During Family Movie Night, kids and their grown-ups are expected to remain quiet and stay in their seats. Depending on the movie being shown, there may be loud noises, bright flashes, and scary moments.

Registration is encouraged, but not required, and will open on August 1.

Attendance Policy

Please note, when someone does not show up for a program they are registered for, they are taking away an opportunity for another member of the community. Patrons who are registered for an event they cannot attend are asked to cancel their registration at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to show up for programs two (2) times without notice will be grounds for being waitlisted for 90 days. Patrons who arrive 10 minutes or more after the program start time will be considered no-shows. They may be denied access after that time, and their spot may be given away to people on the waiting list.
